Each tea has different effects, so there are different sweet spots in the day. Here's our suggested rotation:
-
Ruby Oolong — morning, midday, or afternoon. With 30–45mg of caffeine per cup, oolong is gentle enough to drink throughout the day. Many customers have a cup with breakfast for steady energy or in the afternoon as a coffee alternative.
-
Hibiscus — any time, including evening. Caffeine-free, so it won't disrupt sleep. Great as a soda replacement during the day or a warm wind-down cup at night.
-
Ceremonial Matcha — morning. Higher caffeine combined with L-theanine gives 4–6 hours of calm, sustained energy. Best earlier in the day to avoid affecting sleep.
You can also mix and match — for example, matcha in the morning, oolong midday, and hibiscus in the evening for a full daily ritual.
